Monthly dances are held at the Leroy McAbee, Sr. Activity Center (3801 Loop Road) located adjacent to the VA Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

 

 

Dance Lessons

 

The following BALLROOM DANCE courses will be held at Taylorville United Methodist Church (640 Bear Creek Road off of 69S).

 

A NEW 12-WEEK INTRODUCTORY COURSE will be held on Tuesday nights from 6:00-7:00pm beginning on January 5, 2010. The Introductory course covers two hours (two nights) on each of the six (6) dances listed below.

(Dates are subject to change if the Church needs to use the gym.)

Cost for this course is $35 for non-members and $20 for members*. The non-members will receive membership as a one-time bonus in the Tuscaloosa Ballroom Dance Club for the balance of this dance year, through May 2010, pending approval by the Board of Directors. For non-members, please complete an application and bring, along with $35, in order to speed up registration process.

 

 

A NEW 6-WEEK INTERMEDIATE COURSE will be held on Tuesday nights, 7:15-8:15pm, as follows:

Jan. 5 - Feb. 9, 2010   -  Waltz

Feb. 16 - Mar. 30, 2010  - Foxtrot

Classes will be taught by Steve and Jane Richardson. Cost for the six-week courses will be $35 for non-members and $20 for members*.
