Dance Lessons
The following BALLROOM DANCE courses will be held at Taylorville United Methodist Church (640 Bear Creek Road off of 69S).
A 12-WEEK INTRODUCTORY COURSE will be held on Tuesday nights from 6:00-7:00pm beginning on September 7, 2010. The Introductory course covers two hours (two nights) on each of the six (6) dances listed below.
(Dates are subject to change if the Church needs to use the gym.) Cost for this course is $35 for non-members and $20 for members (*members must renew membership for 2010-2011). Membership goes through May 2011. The non-members will receive membership as a one-time bonus in the Tuscaloosa Ballroom Dance Club for the balance of this dance year, through May 2011, pending approval by the Board of Directors. For non-members, please complete an application and bring, along with $35, in order to speed up registration process.
Two 6-WEEK COURSES will be held on Tuesday nights, 7:15-8:15pm, as follows: September 7 - October 12, 2010 - West Coast Swing (Beginning with the Basic steps) October 19 - November 23, 2010 - Mambo (Intermediate)
Classes will be taught by Steve and Jane Richardson. Cost for the six-week courses will be $35 for non-members and $20 for members (*members must renew membership for 2010-2011). Membership goes through May 2011. Must complete introductory course prior to taking intermediate course.
*ALL MEMBERS MUST RENEW MEMBERSHIP PRIOR TO ANY OF THESE COURSES.
